    thanks for vid. I suspect none of the damaged landrovers will fall into the Civilian hands , they will utilise all the parts inventory and build fully operational L/Rovers to bring back into service.

    Land Rover,in a press release said that the defender was not a viable vehicle from a profit point of view and it was one of the reasons they were not going to update the vehicle with airbags,modern safety options for the American market.If the MOD haven't bought new ones for 11 years you see LR's point.It would be fun to get a heap of us together and an empty cargo plane and go to town in there for a day.     I think that the general manager said that his 'children drive recycled land rovers'. So perhaps they do... it would make sense to sell some off for cash at a reasonable price, to use the cash elsewhere.
