    Game rim's

I'm after a Game wheel so I can get a matching set on my County and more importantly fit my spare Simex

Anyone have a spare they have just lying around or know of one for sale?

Do you mean the 10 spoke "sunraysia" style rims with the spokes welded to the rim, rather than a "pressed" centre?

There was an advert in markets awhile ago by Modman (I think) in Melbourne. I think it was for a full set.

    I'll go have a look.
    Cheers

It seems some Games had the wheels with the spokes welded directly to the rims and some had the pressed centre. Out of the three Games at Cooma two had the spokes welded to the rims but mine has the pressed centre. It seems Leyland used whatever they could lay their hands on at the time.

    Cheers, Mick.

    G'day Folks

Way back in the 70's when the "Wide Wheel" era was starting there was issues with poor quality rims/wheels, and from memory there was a major change in the way that wheels had to be made, and it went from welded to pressed construction, that would have probably been the reason for the change of style in the "Sunrayia" branded wheels, also included in that legislation was improvments in the quality and manufacture of "Mag" wheels, particularly after some Ducati Motorcycle mag rims collasped and resulted in at least 4 deaths, (lost one of my friends) there was also a problem with 2 door "Superbird"Falcon (Xa-b-c) mags.

    cheers
