I'm not sure about NRMA but I recently went through the write off experience with AAMI.
I advised them right from the start that if it was a write off, then I was interested in buying it back. Well, it was a write off and I did buy it back without a problem - they delivered the vehicle back to me and deposited payout in bank. The whole issue was finalised in 10 days and I was able to move on.

    will get some tonight.

They aren't nearly as impressive as the Zook.

Slunnie took those the next morning and mine was parked 100m away at the top of the hill so no photo's

The accident started from the top of the hill, a bit in front of the Defender. The Vit barrel rolled about 6 times before stopping with its rear wheel inside Andys rear door.

    Cheers

    Hi guys,

Excuse the poor quality, they were taken on my phone

Glass smashed, door braces cracked on right and center

rear panels pushed in about and inch, both side glass panes pushed through, brake light smashed

Can see in this photo how far the panel has moved

Might not be able to see it but the aluminium has moulded around the drawer below

    Bent door
