So far:
Disco 300Tdi - owned 3 months (5,000Kms)= 9.12L/100Km avg
Deefer 300Tdi - owned 2 weeks (1,300Kms)= 10.82l/100Kms avg
Hey everyone just wondering what people are getting out of there 300Tdi's (manual)
i filled up for the first time (only had the car about a week) this week and it took 30 lts and i only did 200kms....15 lts per 100kms
i was getting about 9.5 lts per 100kms out of my Td5.
Is this fuel economy normal ?
Cheers Adrian

Hi Adrian
Getting about 9.2ltr/100km out of a 96 auto 300tdi Disco
Regards Ian
my 200 def gets 10/100ks on bio diesel .goes up to about 13-14 when i slap on my 35s its done 300 000 and still doesnt blow any smoke. how did u get those figures did u run the tank dry or measure the fuel in the tank as when mine says its empty theres still 5-8ltrs left in the tank
Helps having mobilcardI just enter my odometer reading when filling up and fill all the way to the top. Then when I get my account I enter the data in this:
Car Maintenance Database Software - Computer Log Book - eBay, Home, Hobbies, Software, Computers. (end time 04-Jun-08 10:13:39 AEST)
It does both vehicles, averages my consumptionand cost figures

I've been keeping a record of my fuel consumption since buying the Disco over 2 years ago. Without the roof rack, consumption was a consistent 8.2 L/100km. With the roof rack on it averages around 9.5 L/100km.

Between 8.5 and 9.5 l/100km in a Disco.

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
the way i measured it was i filled the tank, reset the trip counter, did a short trip then refilled...it took 30lts and i only did 200kms
IF your doing over the 100kmph mark then the 300Tdi drinks. But under that as long as your not reving its guts out it should not take more then 10.5 per 100. Is the odometer correct? I know mine is out but I always have the gps. 15 litres is to thirsty.
