I can't believe how hard it is to get one of these books - still!
When I was looking (a year ago?) it was out of print, but someone in the US had some copies. Cost me $200 by the time it got to Australia.
The UK site (which is the Sold Out one) seems to be his own site, so gawd knows why they don't just reprint a few more. There seems to be a slow but constant demand for this book

I thought I'd let you all know that its back in Print for a few weeks and I've ordered my copy only last week.
You have to go to the publishers website that Juddy recommended before. Costs a lot less than what they are advertised for in Amazon.

Yeah, Desert Winds is Tom Sheperds publishing company.
He got hacked off that people were stock piling his book and then selling on e-bay for massive profits. That's why he did another print run and that's the reason you can only buy one copy!
You may well find a bit of a delay if he's off travelling around somewhere.

Anyone interested in getting VDEG 2.2 please see below email from Tom this morning. He also sent a second one saying that the postage is 15 not 16.4GBP so tot is 51GBP
Cheers
Nick
Good morning Nick,
Many thanks for your enquiry. You can pay using a sterling bank transfer - I can send the bank details if you choose to go this route. Bank charges can be high to pay this way, however, so it's best to check on this. A sterling cheque if you have a sterling bank account is also a way to pay.
Easiest and quickest is by PayPal - and best from your point of view since Desert Winds picks up the transaction fee! You just log on to your PayPal account and click the 'send money' tab and in the 'To' box put this e-mail address (mail@desertwinds.co.uk). That ensures the payment is made into the Desert Winds Publishing account at PayPal. Assuming you are in UK the amount will be £36 plus £5 postage (£8.40 if in the EU or £16.40 if overseas outside the EU) ... and take it from there. In the 'Note from ..... ' put what the payment is for (VDEG 2.2). You can put anything else you want in the Note section as well.
The book will be sent to your registered PayPal address at the foot of the page by default but if you want it sent somewhere else (eg to your work address) then put it in the 'Note' section.
PayPal then generate an e-mail to inform me here that the payment has been made and their e-mail has all the above info on it too - what you are buying and where it is to be shipped.
Hope that covers it. To be honest I have never done a transaction from your side of the fence but judging from the forms and e-mails I get through the PP system, the above is what happens! Look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Tom Sheppard
