Book request: Vehicle Dependent Expedition Guide (Tom Sheppard)

OK - Long shot: Does anyone here have a copy of the "Vehicle Dependent Expedition Guide" by Tom Sheppard they might want to sell?

It was produced in co-operation with Land Rover, but not sure if it an official LR product.

Seems to be out of print. Don't mind if it is paperback or hardback.

    Thanks
    David

Yes, it has been out of print for a while. I have a copy which I am not going to sale whatsoever. I have found my copy on ebay, and when communicating with the seller it turned out he was a Landy nut as well, so I was offered to purchase at a very favourable price .
The books are highly sought after and the asking prices at ebay and amazon, etc are quite steep to say the least.
If I were you I'd go for the first edition, i.e the hardback one, as it is the one with coloured pics and a slightly better "feel", higher quality. The second edition has a few updated, mainly in the GPS section, which by now are outdated anyway.

Good luck with your treasure hunt! The book is really worth it.

There was one for sale on UK's Land Rover Addict Forum not too long back. They don't hang around for long though.
A truely great bit of textbook philosophy from the man himself.

Thanks JoJo - that's good. Much more realistic than one I saw advertised at over $1600!!!!!!!!

I have just emailed them to order a copy. $170 plus postage (not sure how much that will be as yet).

    Thanks again
