Its a fine line - but in our roll (Emergency Services) it passed the time away while we are quiet.You blokes are lucky to have internet access at work

Nope plenty of people here missing fingers, a woman killed not long ago, followed by a dumbass, removeing the tip of his pointer, 'tis a nasty place to work if your stupid.............a prerequisite to work here apparently
Don't get me wrong there are some good operators, but some call up with problems with machines after working here for 5,10 even 20 years, the equivelant of leaving your handbrake on in your car, getting a mechanic to check it out, because you'd simply forgotten how your machine works
One bloke missing 3 fingers from years ago, stuck his hand in a lock valve, it chewed his fingers off, gone forever where they went, when asked why he put his hand in there, he said "I didn't know what was in there"![]()

Work 12 shifts a Month
And 6 weeks annual leave to boot....
(And Wayne, yes, a Beer or two would be great!)
Oh yeah, the wifes a 'shiftie' too..
Works 2km down the road (same company different plant)
Shes a CRO at the Filter/Flux Plant...
Works for us, I sleep, she works, she sleeps, I work...
But when our breaks line up we get a week to do stuff
(And 2x 6 figure incomes dont hurt either)
not shifty - but do night worknot tonight - I just stay up late lol
Always on the PC as its my work as well. Will be doing a 1000+ printer queue migration from one print server to another on Friday night![]()
