That feeder looks like a good idea, but how do you fill it???
on another note, if you want a chook house with real character, try and track down an old "Thunderbox"thats what mine is going to be.:DOf course it needs a bit of work yet.

Easy to fill,I leave a 2lt icecream container in them rubbish bins where I store the tucker.
You just tip it in via the corner thru the holes in the feeder,they are 60mm dia.
If you get Poultry mix it has all the goodies in it,including shell grit.Thats why I had to make this feeder,bloody chooks emptyied the hopper lookin for their favorite bits,once scattered on the floor they wont eat it till they are REALLY HUNGRY:mad::mad::mad::mad:
