Most of Europe for that matter allow some sort of drinking at 15.
Its only because we want to be a mini USA that we are at 18. Hang on for a rough ride because it will be 21 soon if certain factions have their way.

Same goes for Germany, France, etc... In Germany, you can even buy beer at the service stations along the Autobahn :o:o:o

Nothing to do with him. Myself and two friends were carded at one of the big bottle shops in Woolloongabba (Dan Murphy's?) a few years back. Only one of us was buying anything and he was the youngest in the group at about 26 years of age. Older than the girls serving from memory.
