    defender doors

    is there any way i can make my 130s door fit alittle closer???? rear left perfect the rest not all together perfect.

    yes they would be perfect if you took them off altogether and sold them to us for our 90......front doors of course

    i heard you get better fuel economy if you just remove them
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    Yeah if you look at the stricker on the piller
    it has an alen Key hole in the center. If you undo it slightly , you can move it towards the inside of the car and this will move the door to close closer to the car. Bit trail and error untill you get it right for your needs

    Might have trouble getting it to latch properly doing this, unless its already set wrong.

    If you move the striker plate make sure you tighten it up properly. Mine came loose early on in the ownership. I was half a day from home in the scrub at the time. Had to tie the door till we got home.

    If you're having trouble setting the striker position check for slop in the door hinges.
