    AULRO Stickers

I went to put the AULRO stickers on the car that we got about a month ago. Not good - it was only the gold and green landrover bit that got onto the glass - peeling off the cover sheet had the gold letters staying on the cover sheet - I tried redoing it and when that did not work I tried taking the individual letters off the sheet but the result was pretty crappy so I have just ended up with the centre landrover sticker and no AULRO.com or my nick.

I did dry clean the glass and rubbed the sticker so it was stuck to glass before starting the peeling process but it seems the sticker wants to stick to the cover sheet rather than the glass.

These cost about $15 ea so I am a bit disappointed - anyone else have the same problem.

I managed to get mine on OK. But had to have the windscreen changed today after an overly aggressive rock tried to jump through it.

Mine worked but I had to be very careful. Wiped the window and made sure it was very clean and dry. One or two letters tried to stay behind but I got them to stick by rubbing them and peeling back slowly.

I didn't have that problem... For me it was more so a tendency of the paper wanting to along with the sticker onto the... chassis (only place I could put it). But thankfully I was able to get around the problem and it turned out alright.

Still holding on strong too despite being covered in mud and pressure washed.

the other thing i always do and have found that it helps is

i always take the top left hand corner and peel down in a very slow diagonal manor......

as i have found getting it started and then pulling the backing evenly across (horizontally) doesn't work.
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

You folks know that these are float on transfers?

Lots of warm water and a sponge.

    none here either

just cleaned the glass very well.. positioned the backing piece very carefully and then rubbed and rubbed and rubbed.. then peeled the backing off.. then rubbed some more! (using a cloth)

    Thanks

    Steve
