otherwise i dont reckon women would be seen as so attractive when driving a defender....especially if every second person driving them was a women

Thanks, although those who know me would not really describe me as "shy".
Haven't had a lot of time to spend on the PC ...as I am a part time mechanic (?) for my husband...who has 2 Landrovers (Defender & Disco); continuous coffee maker for our son who has a County and spare parts obtainer for our daugter who also drives a Defender. Must say though I can't really blame her too much, as she lives in NE Arnhem Land. We're off to visit in a few days time so will be away for a month or so. And I will admit we are both looking forward to the warmer weather.
I actually grew up in Shepparton and visited Buchan from time to time. Lovely part of Victoria.
Will try and add any interesting snippets, but my technical knowledge on Landrovers is very limited.
All the best,
Mrs. Bundalene
Don't know about that.
Pity we won't be in Gove when you two head up there in a couple of months. We could all get into great mischief with the other members.
Erich is busy installing the extra fuel tanks in the Defender, and happily all seems to be going well!
By the way if you get your track Permits do all the right things you will find the local Yolngu people very nice. Diesel prices where our daughter lives is presently $2.30 litre. so be prepared for a big fuel bill.
Hope all is going well with your vehicle problems and things get sorted out.
Kind regards,
Mrs. Bundalene
