					Hullo,
A bit delayed , but I've just joined the AULRO madness and I am definitely a female. I just got divorced and made sure the Defender was MINE !
He did try to say " wouldn't you prefer a small run-around car, with all the miles you do, it would be sooo much cheaper... and I could keep the Defender."
My reply would be too rude for his forum, let's just say that I replied : "hands of my Defender", I paid for most of it anyway, and I was the one to want it.
It is a bit of a boy's world indeed, don't know why. wouldn't drive anything else. Maybe we should do a section of Rover's girl topics.....

Oh, forgot to say I definitely drive a manual........ never driven an automatic until last year, when the LandRover garage lent me a run-around-car-while-servicing-your-car , it was a manual Rover 3500 !.
In Europe we don't do manuals very well, that's where I grew up, and I like using my left leg and my left arm, otherwise they would get bored and I would have to bother my passenger with them, who is usually my Terrier dog !
, ...oooopppps, hope it is not politically incorrect

Ah, it means Gecko in Spanish, where I was born, but it could be a Spanish complicated engine part for a Santana if u like.
