Gregory's Manual # 519 covers the semi and full float rear ends too, if you can't get a genuine publication (huge $$ last time I enquired).

Second that. There are some good guys on that site who are very knowledgeable and willing to lend a hand. There are also the obligatory morons that adorn any public access web forum...

As an owner of a leaf sprung GQ I pop up there from time to time to ask questions on the rare occasions when I manage to break my beastie.

yeah good site. pity that it can't be joined or searched

over a 3 day period i went thru each of the 240 odd pages of threads to find answers.

i've been trying to join since march, and the site admin/maintainence havent fixed it yet. there is a contact email, but after many attempts, i still havent received one reply.

    oh well.

hi guys thanks for the links and hints.

Not sure which it is, we have 2 full axles, one i know as the leaf spring, one i know as the coil. the coil is semi floating and the leaf is full floating and heavy as... the coil may be the DX, and the leaf may be the GU but im still learning its bad enough dealing with failing toyotas everyday i'm actually just looking for the front and rear axles in exploded form with part numbers attached, but the manual would be helpful. we do have a gregories but it only covers the semi floating. if you have got any *cough cough* download links could you pm me with them please?

    Thanks again

as before, i have the gu manual, but after a quick search, it only covers y61 models, which are the wagons, so no leaf springs.

if you want you can d/l it straight from me thru msn. my upload rate is around 100Kb/s and the file is 191mb, so about 32mins to download.
simonr23 at hotmail dot com is my msn address.
    cheers.
