Bought a brand new BJ40 Diesel when they first come out, pinion nut came of rear diff flange and pinion rolled back into diff and jammed up the rear end at 80ks on Gladesville bridge one night, did 3 X 360's and never hit anyone, had only had it a week. You had to plan a week ahead if you wanted to overtake anyone, rear springs lasted 6 months, fronts 7 months, worst riding, handling, dangerous vehicle I've ever owned, Regards Frank.
