Help with plastic T pieces on 93 petrol RR

A pipe runs from the Right hand rocker cover to the air intake before the butterfly which has a plastic T piece in it. A smaller pipe run from the T piece to inlet manifold. Mine is broke, I received a quote of $62 dollars for a replacement. If this is my only option then so be it but I am not into waisting $'s.

Does any one know if there is a problem with knocking one up out of copper.

    thanks

Making your own will be fine. It's just a breather connection.

Local hardware or spare parts place will have a suitable alternative, mine are chrome metal, should be no problem finding a replacement, Regards Frank.

For correct running you need to have the right ID for the small hose side. There a metal ones around.

The ID is a fair bit smaller then the OD so retic pipes wont work.

The breather T piece is not just a hardware shop bit.
There is a restrictor in the small pipe to enable the engine to idle.
So pay the money. These were made by Maxi Drive.
