    There is a Land Rover dealer in Cairns. I have no experience of it, but it does exist.

    Can recommend Col at Hypertuned LandRover on Hartley St in Cairns. Great fella, great prices on parts and his work is well reported by friends.

    "Scallops" had trouble with the one in Darwin but you would need to talk to him what about though he won't be back till the end of August. maybe the N.T. guys will come and respond

    There were variable reports before about Mitsubishi 's quality control before but I have never used them. Friends had a Mitsubishi Triton and were unhappy with the service in that jobs were just not done. Spare parts was ok the 2 occasions in the last few years that I have been in there. Problem is they may be the only place with the diagnostic gear.

    Try to PM Larns who is on this site, he may be able to assist as he specialises in Land Rovers and does work on the army vehicles. There is All Rural Mechanical out at Humpty Doo which is not a Land Rover place but he has got good reports. The place I used has now retired.

    Hiya Brendan,

    I never really found anywhere in Darwin but I did find a nice bunch of guys in Cairns... Thing is, I've just been hunting through my e-mails & posts but I can't find their details.

    The dealer in town were a nice bunch but I only used them for parts.

    If I find the details, I'll let you know.
