    Stuck in Mt Isa

    Hi All,

Well the trip has had it's first hiccup. Split my fuel tank. If there is anyone in MtIsa that knows where i might get it repaired drop us a line. I have BOR looking into a replacement for me, so hopefully we might have an idea later today.

    Cheers
    Paul

Paul, after living there for three years i know what a hole it is. There are a heap of engineering shops though. Try the ARB in town for contacts. Have a jaunt out to the dam while your stuck there. its worth a look. Otherwise the best view of Mt Isa is in your rear view mirror.

Try the breakers yard on Mica Creek Road south of town towards the power station. The guy there has a few series trucks and atleast one series 3 station wagon.

Failing that there is a guy that lives on Barnes Street just of Ryan road that is a Landy Fan, owns a 101 and my old series 3 station wagon. He might be able to help.
