Thread: filter prices

the airfilter price seems excessive. my td5, which uses the regular panel style filter costs $20. is your airfilter the type that you oil and reuse?

Mmm 300Tdi Defender air filter is about on the money $50 + ,z89a oil filter is about $10 to $12

Yeah but Valvoline filters are usually as cheap as..... I'm not sure I'd trust one.

make sure you look on ebay for that stuff aswell. i got oil, air and fuel filters for my 300tdi delivered to my door for $62.

I go to our local Auto One and pay around $9 for a oil filter and got quoted I think $36 for the air filter. Thats for a 300 Tdi.

Well...Thanks for the replies. It's as I suspected. The bloke that's been getting my money (and lots of it) for the last ten years isn't looking after me. It's a shame it's going to have to end this way.
