Not only is it a Toyota Land Rover but it has a 2.2 litre engine, although that is probably a Holden 202 and not the 2.6 litre that it should have had when it was in the Army.

    And no gardening tool brackets.

I called and spoke to him , seems like a very nice bloke , doesn't know anything about landrovers , said it used to belonged to a mate of his????

I laughed at this Comment " it doesn't go very fast"

I invited him to Join AULRO and post a question in the series section about his L/R , so hopefully he will come along and join , someone please confirm if it is a series 3, he has in his possession . Just about the only thing he knew was that it had a holden 202 engine ( as mentioned ) .

Nice Army GS (Taillights are a giveaway, horizontal instead of 3 in a triangle)

Must jot down the chassis number.

    That's gone & spoilt it - it's just a Land Rover now .

Looks like a tidy unit though.

Except it still has a 2,200litre engine the size of one out out of a battleship.

Perhaps someone should re-ring the nice bloke and tell him that a Holden 202 engine is 3.3 litres.
