    My Discos having troubles starting and I couldnt work it out so off to the mechanics it went. 5 weeks later and now 1800 lighter in my pocket guess what no bloody difference at all??

    Well.. looks like you paid 1800 bucks too much ..

    Seriously it happens to us all.. been there done that many times.. just have to pursist and try to work with your mechanic in finding the problem.

    Good luck with it.. maybe explain the symtoms as there are a few here with a clue..just a few though

    Well personally I don't believe I have to, I don't need to justify myself to anyone, but I bought a D1 for 10k, a D1.5 for 9.5k, replaced the 200Tdi injector pump and injectors 3k, a clutch and LT77 2.5k, 1.855k to repair a timing belt and front cover, and 2k last week as per my first post, that'll do for a start.

    I can understand that it might irritate some people that I'm giving a critique of the very brand that this site exists for, but all I'm doing is being honest and saying that I've had an extremely expensive bad luck run out of both my Discos and its no longer possible for me to spend everything I earn every week fixing problems.

    Roll on tomorrow...
