Spotted: UK Camel Trophy D110 at Kata Tjuta, Central NT

G'day Guys,

During our visit to the Red Centre I spotted a UK Reg Camel Trophy D110 at Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).

We got talking and Gavin is a member on this forum - hes prob in Brisbane by now and is looking to import his beloved Camel into NZ ASAP.

Just had to take the shot!!!

G'day All, Curtin Springs hasn't changed much since 93 LOL and BTW where does he park the Camel beast at night, I'm looking for 2 short sheets of PSP

Curtin Springs is now a huge Roadhouse - still has free camping, but we stayed at Mt Ebenezer Roadhouse, smaller and friendlier place with free camping and GREAT food.

due in to Auckland mid-August. Nervous about getting through the LTSA entry inspection - any advice from anyone who has imported into NZ?

Hi Gavin

We exchanged a wave when you pulled into the campsite at the Bungles (white Defender wagon). I went looking for you the next morning to say "Good'ay" but you must have left early to go trekking.

My instinct was to drop everything and bring a six-pack of Little Creatures Bright Ale over but I was camp cook that night; it included not only the main meal but keeping the troops full of nibblies as well.

You car looks mint.
