Thread: modern puter

It is pretty slow loading programmes. However once there it runs fine.
Only used for Word and the internet.
I've been offered a 512mb stick so I'll fit that when the guy finds it.

Besides my wife doesn't complain and I've got a dual core laptop for myself

He was refering to it having the new Centerino2 chip.
It was surprisingly hard to get a laptop,alot of the big stores in Perth had sold out of most of their runout stock and were waiting on the new stuff.WILL ADD,under instruction from the 14yo geek son,only come home with a Toshie!!!! Compaqs HPs no probs!!!!
