    Chainsaws aren't Dangerous...

    Planers are dangerous...

Over the last couple of weekends I have spent 5 hrs or so weilding a chainsaw... Without a problem.

But only 1/2 hr or so of planing some pieces of Jarrah left me with about 3/4 of a fingertip on one of my fingers...

People don't kill people, electric planes kill people.

Hope it wasn't the important finger.

    Cheers

A skin graft or 2 and some superglue later it looks like like new - or will do in 2 weeks

I'm betting you were holding the timber in your left hand and the plane in the right hand as opposed to having it on the bench?

    Hope it all heals nicely.
