Only any insurance pertaining to the Patrol. Steve's company can still go after them personally. In short Steve, this makes no difference to you making a claim but it means they are in a world of hurt.

BTW what 'race prepped Ducati' did you ride?

I can imagine it, you survived the bobcat incident, the paddock corolla jumping incident, the double no brain backflip on a broken quad, the daily double no brain backflips on a MTB, the ride on a race prepped Ducatti, the MTB race you competed in with only the use of 1 eye.

If you died from a Pootrol in the back of the head it simply would not do you justice.

Not only that he didn't recognise me in the stolen patrol. I tried doing the same to a kid on a trike later but his mum told me off.:angel:

Aside from that, your best bet is to lay a complaint with the police for reckless/dangerous driving causing injury, of which you now have the evidence. Add to that driving a vehicle without a license, ... it is possible the case will be criminal in nature, rather than civil.

Oh, and you should find that there is already a case file because unless the driver already reported the accident, then they are in deep poo.

Then you can either claim through the case for medical expenses, damage to your bike, loss of income, hurt feelings, or whatever your lawyer can come up with, plus court and recompense for your legal costs. And if you're not satisfied with that you can probably go for civil damages too (unless it is double jeopardy).
