Glad to hear you're OK Steve.

The only insurance that matters in this case is third party personal injury cover which, unless the law is different over your way, comes with vehicle registration.

So if he's not insured for this, then his vehicle must be unregistered and he definitely should be reported for this.
    Cheers .........

    Ditto!

Report report report. (Get checked out as well).

It all becomes a bit hard if you have to try and report it a week or 2 down the track.

    Keep safe Andy.

Sorry to hear about that. I hope your okay.

Make sure you report it. Even if it seems to hard or like a waste of time. People should not get away with that sort of thing even if you end up being fine and not injured but in saying that, that sort of accident will come back and haunt you.

Steve, if you were riding home from work, there may be a Workers Compensation issue as well. If so, report it to your employer/insurance company/WorkCover.

    I hope all is OK.

A hit on the back of the head which would crack a helmet will have shaken your brain around. You can't afford to muck about - get thee to a hospital/doctor.

damn dude! Very glad your ok!!

Really have to watch your mirrors if your the first bike at the lights and always have that right foot on the rear break, keeping your clutch in with the left hand ready for something like that.
Like others said - make sure its reported

Well, After a trip to the cop shop this morning I found out the driver wasn't liscenced the bloke had pinched his dads car.

Then had a CT? scan done. minor swelling to my neck and back of my head.

So not being liscenced how does this affect me if I want to make a claim????

    So

    About this CT scan

Did they find anything unusual? Minerals, Iron ore? Did they find any abnormal calcification of your skull?

After the amount of punishment you put your body through and the many times you risk being name in the darwin awards not just overall but also in the last month you'd think a small knock from an over sized wonka car would be just a run of the mill thing.

I can imagine it, you survived the bobcat incident, the paddock corolla jumping incident, the double no brain backflip on a broken quad, the daily double no brain backflips on a MTB, the ride on a race prepped Ducatti, the MTB race you competed in with only the use of 1 eye.

If you died from a Pootrol in the back of the head it simply would not do you justice.

Just for the record is this the 2nd or 3rd CT scan in the last month?

Pinched his fathers car, how old was he?

It sounds like only civil avenues could be pursued in this circumstance as all insurance is void considering no license and no permission to use the vehicle.
