    Just purchased a County 1987

    Hi all , just got mysef a GENUINE county 1987 , what have i got myself in for ? I dont know to much about them accept that there seems to be very limited numbers of them about ?????? It on gas lpg and has had a 3.9 fitted 2 years back and has a 5 speed box . Can anyone direct me to get the LPG tank tested and dropped to the back floor to cover with a false floor . Or is there anyplace to put the lpg tank under . Needs a blue slip. etc etc ANY HELP OR INFO WOULD BE REALLY WELCOME AM ON THE NORTH SHORE SYDNEY . Thanks .

    Hi mate,

    Most of this stuff has been covered before.... so try the search function e.g " scuba tanks"

    This one points out a couple of guys that do scuba tanks in Sydney

    I wouldn't say there are limited numbers of them... infact I dare say models with the V8 engine are almost common. The Isuzu Diesel ones are more difficult to come across but even they aren't "rare".

    Nonetheless... They are a great, robust truck and should serve you very well!

    Put up some pics if you can, so we can all ooh and ahh over it!

    Hi thanks to all for the tips re the county , I had at one point in time a p38 NO MORE , and more recently an 85 Range Rover . so the county is part of the process . Just love Land Rovers . But dont want to be scared of a scratch or 2 in the bush , as was with the 95 p38 took it down one very tame overgrown track .and scratched the hell out of it . Cost me plenty of time cut and polish .
    So I just want the GO ANYWHARE POTENTIAL . and have a highmount warne winch on a land criuser ARB . Can anyone pointme to the best solution ? This county has a bull bar but is not a winch bar . I need an engineer to cut and adapt the ARB to fit the county ? ASAP i will post all the pic of this county its a looker all original striping etc .
