    I thought it was the Georgians who had the Landies

    110's

    I saw a much longer TV clip of them and from the flags on the soldiers uniforms, they were in fact Georgian. I believe they were Turkish built Otokar 110's.

    Yep, saw that later tonight as well. But (and I hate to say this about my ABC) the first clip shows blokes in Landies while they're yakking on about Russians. No matter, as long as they made the clip exciting I suppose it's all that matters

    It's a shame Landies are for fun and should only be used in anger to get past that nasty obsticle.

    Those snorkels look like a sensible design. It looks as if they don't have the changes in cross section and the sharp turns of the commercial ones.

    Every time I think about making one of my own I think i will make it that shape.
    Surely round tube all the way down and into the air cleaner has to work.

    What do you reckon?
