    Fuel Saving Devices

Is this the end of the Hiclone?

I just heard on the radio that people marketing fuel saving devices will now be required by law to provide scientific proof that their products do what they claim.

    About time.

Although there is science and Science.

Some "scientists" can develop "scientific" evidence for just about anything if the price is correct. Look at what the cigarette companies did for decades.

One would hope that the Government also sets a standard experiment with the results to be expressed in a standardised way.

and when a little s scientist puts out their non scientific principal evidence its isnt anything until a real Scientist tests it and confirms it. I wouldnt get overly excited about it as thats what sets the shonks apart. Genuine Science can be replicated by other Scientists.Crappy science is akin to fortune telling. a load of crap.
I do have a problem however when they make a buck out of it from someone who takes their word for it and gets ripped off.
BTW I should declare I am a Chemist type Scientist.
