    Offensive Google adverts on AULRO

    I was innocently browsing the site when I noticed a very offensive google ad.

    Ad one was for Discovery info on a car site. That is relevant and likely to be of interest to me.

    Ad two was for blackberrys. Again fair enough, I'm thinking of getting one. Or at least my boss is thinking that I should have one...

    Ad three was for accounting jobs!!! Of all the cheek! I've been called some pretty rude things in my life and let it go. BUT NOT AN ACCOUNTANT. That is taking it way too far.

    What can we do to control these offensive adverts? Some innocent person is going to be accused of being something even worse before long, may even called a lawyer!

    I dunno 'bout accountants.... never been able to work out what makes 'em tick...

    but I've heard that statisticians who can't handle the pace often become actuaries..

    I agree... if I was called a lawyer, then I'd be calling a lawyer too.

    I know the last few weeks access from work computer has been a bit harder to AULRO, no other site.
    The system now scans the pages and often opens them up in a new window. On occassion the system must have deemed some links and banners offensive as it has covered them up with a BHP logo.
    Has not stopped me accessing just slows things up.
