    ARB TowMaster

    is this the landrover towbar for a D2 or a different one? i just noticed the sticker when i was underneath cleaning off some beach sand.

    That's what I would have said but it's blowing 30knot wind and 21.7 outside so I didn't want to go out into the cold dry season night to check my LR towbar to see if it had ARB markings as well

    is the ARB towbar better or worse than the standard one? i guess load ratings especially.

    We haven't seem those types of temps for a while. Quite often here it is warmer in the fridge.... seriously.

    Simon,
    This is the ARB version of Hayman Reece towbar.
    It still has the same tow rating as the factory towbar just a bigger version.
    It also has the ability to connect a WDH (Weight Disribution Hitch) towbar setup to tow large vans if need be as the factory unit was unable too.

    Obviously the previous owner did not like the factory version or your vehicle is an "S" model which came into Aus without the LR towbar, Steel wheels, non electric mirrors etc etc.
