First things first. Make sure that fibro doesn't contain asbestos.

You can still buy fibro - just not with asbestos in it. You could glue a patch of fibro sheet over it if it's not too big a hole.

If you replace the panel you'll need to be discreet in getting rid of the old sheet.....

Some things in life need to be done right and getting rid of asbestos responsibly is one of them.

Get a few strips of timber batons and liquid nail them across the hole. Also liquid nail fibro bits around the edge. Then liquid nail a piece of fibro cut to fit the hole. Fill the remain gap to level were the fibro inside meets the larger piece with a suitable bog and sand back.

But as mentioned, make sure its not asbestos sheeting.
