Nice! Well done.
How much came out of the guards, and how did you deal with the insides of the rear doors?
I ordered the Scorpion Flares a while back and been sitting in the Garage , been meaning to put them on for a while , I Finally got around to it, you don't wanna know how much of the panels had to be removed
.........alright Matt ( rovercare ) you asked for Pics , here they are
The back ones don't line up properly, had to be use the misus's haridryer
and even then they still don't sit properly
, but I will fix them , still needs a lot of finishing Touches , the Rubber strip has to go on yet ..
Edit ...
The Side Strips were taken off , they are going to get replaced with aluminum checker plate , cut and fitted by yours truely.
It's a good thing I'm not charging by the hour .....![]()

Bout time, where's the pics of the rangie?
![]()
hahahah , Karl should be back from his nice little break tomorrow , so I'm going down there to take some pics in the morning
Rangie's locked up inside the garage , so can't get pics of it
what do ya reckon about the Scorpion Flares ?
What should I do with the Big Gaps inside the rear Doors ????![]()
Selleys no more gaps
Looking nice Khossie about time you got off your ring![]()
The scorpion flares are better than LRA as they don;t break, my mate proved that after smashing his rear door into a tree and the flare didn;t break
I've neber had to fill the gaps as I've only fitted LRA flares, which have a moulded inner, BUT looking at that and ones I;ve seen, I'd get some aluminium, bend it up to fill most of the void and sikaflex it in![]()
If its any help, thats how I did mine. Except I tabbed the door and folded the tabs back onto some aluminium angle that was rivetted to the inside of the gap.

Yeah sorry. They are small for loading times and I was too lazy to make each pic link to a full size.
The pics are all available in the gallery and can be clicked on for a larger 640x480 image. Sorry.
