you did not state your tow vehicle....

before I say anything we do not tow anything........we have seen caravans on Fraser many campers also....we have friends that tow campers across the island with little difficulty.....a Kimberley camper should have no trouble as long as you take it easy assuming you have a capable vehicle...assuming it is a Land Rover!!!

Corrosion is a real bugbear for aircraft up here too.

I was always hoping to see an old 60 series Cruiser wagon where the roof had just rusted completely off

BTW Is your camper the same variety as mine?
    G'day Stuuuu,

Our camper is a Cape York trailers (Ahern metal industries, Portsmith, Cairns) Full body Type3. Google Cape York Trailers and there is a pic of the Type3 model, ours is a special order full body one, same as the work trailers that CYT supply to Telstra FNQ. Leaf sprung, shocks, AT35 hitch, fully galv, ally and stainless, simple and mega tough. I wanted something to last me 25years

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Thanks - Thought yours may have been one of them. Very nice but I wanted one that was fully sealed like the Adventure and someone related to me by marriage wanted the kitchen we have

A kitchen like yours would be nice
Ours is a BASIC model, the stainless kitchen etc is there, but no appliances...
When you say fully sealed? Ours is sealed up against moisture and bulldust well, do you mean folded up with NO covers? If so, good idea against the elements and thievery, but the equivalent CYT was a fair bit more $$$ than I was prepared to part with at the time

We're planning a Kimberley trip next year (We hope) so we'll be able to test the Tanami dust and Gibb river rocks out...

Yep only steel on the outside. We waited for a few years to get ours because of the $ too

In 1984 we had a house built in Darwin and said 'Next year we'll go to the Kimberleys.' Well next year ...
