    disco2 carpet cleaning/drying

ive removed my carpets to clean and dry them. would i do any damage to the underlay by taking them to a landromat for washing and tumble drying?

if so, would a wet/dry vac from kennards be powerful enough to suck up most of the water and mud from the underlay?

    cheers.

I wouldn't tumble dry them it would destroy them. All I ever did in the Disco's was lift the mats and let them air dry after sponging up as much as I could. The underlay backing is just foam rubber.

Should be okay, but not too hot a wash or dry, you may want to pop them in old pillow cases before the wash and dry - helps maintain the shape.
