    Talking Election concept?

I just received this EMail from a mate, the author should run for Prime Minister.

Message from a hard working Aussie

I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to earn that pay cheque, (I work on a mine site on a Kalgoorlieconstruction project), I am required to pass a random urine test for drugs, with which I have no problem at all.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a Centrelink Payment because I have to pass one to earn it for them??

Please understand - I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sit on their backsides drinking alcohol & smoking dope. Could you imagine how much money the Government would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a Centrelink Payment ??

Come on, Fair's Fair, Fix it up !!!

If this offends anyone bad luck, I have had a long night dealing with drugged out freeloaders that steal other peoples belongings!

    Cheers Andy.

Maybe extend it to parliamentarians? Probably get the same short shrift awarded to the proposal some years back to breath test them!

Some of the reasons public toilets were not provided in Social Security offices until recently were the problems encountered in offices that did have them. The clients were shooting up, smoking illegal substances, doing deals, and prostituting themselves in the privacy of the cubicles.

Sounds like robust private enterprise to me.

If they kept the toilets open those people wouldn't need the dole.

    Cheers

On top of that concept (pee for the doll scheme), they should legalise all these drugs so then they can tax them accordingly with how much they cost the community.

    E.g.
Ice, $100,000 per gram in tax
E $50,000 per tab in tax
Dope $200 per gram in tax
    etc

It would not only boost the economy and would hopefully slow the growth of the drug industry but it would also force people away from the horrible ones to more acceptable ones e.g tobacco and alcohol
