Train??? Maybe?
I've been tempted by another car on ebay at the moment but it's rather a long way from Sydney.
Unfortunately, it's only a rolling shell with loose car parts inside. All the regular car transport companies will only carry driveable cars.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this from near Perth (Beverley) to Sydney?
I would drive over to collect it but fuel $$ would kill me.

If you can wait until May/ June next year, I can bring it back on a car trailer?
It's difficult, all transport companies want the vehicle mobile
what vehicle is it?

Get it carried as general freight. It will have to be tilt tray to a transport depot then they load it onto a regular trailer. Sometimes direct from the tilt tray sometimes they have to lift it with a fork lift.
Unless it's something very special or rare, it will cost more than you could buy one here.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
Have it freighted over inside a container
It's a very early 1949 Morris Minor, around the 7th or 8th oldest known in Australia.
It's a long story but I've spent the last 19 years looking for a good shell so I can re-body my 1948 Morris Minor after it was written off (and then repaired, badly). I collected the oldest known Australian MM from Adelaide a couple of years ago, hoping to use it but it's in very bad shape.
I realise they all look the same but there are small structural & cosmetic differences between the very early cars & all the later ones.
I realise it could cost me up to a couple of grand to get it to Sydney but that's probably less than the fuel bill for a V8 RR to get there & back.
Thanks for the tips on transport. I'll be making a few phone calls on Monday.

Hmm, so if I fly over, buy the D3, I could almost buy a car trailer with your $2k transport costs to tow this back for you......![]()
