    so how did the trip go guys...

    in particular how did DiscoStew go, did he get to test out his new recovery points?

    Dave, did not need to use the recovery points. It was more of an introductory day to off-roading and I was in a group that was avoiding too much mud. A coup[le of people came and checked them out but bright green shackles hanging off the front of the car will do that.

    I think I went all right for a beginner. I made it through without embarrassing myself too much as did everyone else. I get the impression it was a bit of an amble through the park for most people but that would be the nature of DARE's.

    I was impressed by the Freo, DJHampson and BeforeTheVision are not afraid to push it through. It is now on the list as a replacement for the Civic in a couple of years. Well it was until I looked up the price.
