    electric mirrors for a D2

are mirrors from RRC and D1's the same fittment, plugs, etc as my 02 D2? my car only has manual mirrors.

what can i expect to pay for both mirrors and a switch?

    thanks.

I don't know about Disco mirrors, but I can tell you that the externals of the RRc mirrors (Phase II onwards) were the same whether they were manual or electric.

When I broke the casing of the mirror on my HiLine the cost of a replacement electric and heated one was something like $450.00 I bought a second hand manual one for about $50 and swapped the electric motor assembly and glass over to the manual one.

The biggest problem was getting the wires through the post into the mirror housing. I guess they run the wires before they put the terminals on.

In your case you may be able to buy the motor assemblies and replace then into where your manual regulators currently sit.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

No they aren't, needs to be from a D2, even though they may appear too look alike, they won't be

Have you tried Triumph Rover Spares for some used parts?

I'm just surprised you could get a Disco2 in Oz without electric mirrors!

I thought they were standard over here. I've certainly never seen one without them in the 94+ Disco1 and early D2s that I've looked at.

yeah my car is apparently an 'S' pack. no tweeters in the 'A' pillar, steel wheels, tape player only, manual mirrors and something else. funny thing is, the person who originally bought it optioned it up with flares, stacker, alloys and there's something else that wasnt standard. i forget what it was. must have ended up costing more than just buying a regular TD5.

TRS want $500 for 2 mirrors and the switch.

also, how much roughly for 'A' pillars with the tweeters in them? i see that i have wiring ready to go. TRS are closed now, so i cant ask them.
