The one I would love to find for my 1968 restoration would be a Sharp "blue dial" they were the ants pants in the early 1970's.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

There's about 6 out in the shed - only one of them is AM only. Others are all AM/SSB. Can't remember all the brands, but there's a Kraco, a Pierce Simpson Super Bengal, a Courier Spartan, plus a few odds & sodds including a Leson bench mike. Haven't used any of it for years, but as far as I know, it's all still in working condition.
    Cheers .........

I had one that looked like that but it was 40 channel. I've still got the more modern version of that one somewhere. Black plastic and a bit curvy with 40 channels. Plus had a Pierce Simpson SSB unit in the car.
I stopped using them when I bought a UHF which I think was when I joined a 4wd club about 4 years ago.
