Just read this. Like all above, hope for a speedy recovery mate.
Hello Sally
Sorry to hear of your troubles but I'm glad to hear he's on the mend. Landy owners are as just as tough as their trucks. But I'm sure his quick recovery will be due in no small part to your love. Us men may put a lot of effort into our rovers, but we would be lost without our significant other. He's a lucky Man. My wife couldn't even make me admit thisTry to keep this quite!
Best wishes from Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Justin

I'm a little behind the times also, so I want to add my best wishes for a speedy recovery and I am glad to hear that Steve is on the mend.
As mentioned by P38 definitely inform the police of this visit to hospital. I can recommend a good lawyer who helped me out when I was knocked off my motorbike if you don't know anyone. He is in Sydney but is very good. If not workers comp you should at least be covered by Compulsory 3rd party which is usually the better route to take in these situations.

Josh
If traveling directly to or from work it is definitely covered by workcover. One of the many hats i wear is a rehabilitation officer. Document everything and keep all medical records. The employer has an obligation to report the incident to workcover within a strict time period and it is in their best interest to do so. There is nothing stopping you from ringing workcover direct. they are not unfriendly, it is basically an insurance business.
If you do lodge a claim Workcover will assess it and if approved will cover all medical costs.
Only just caught up with this! Hope he recovers soon, how is he now?
Get well soon mate![]()
Well they let him out for a few hours today. He was giving the nurses the ****s. But he still has to go back for more testing over the next few days.
Just to make things more fun I broke my wrist today.
Sally

Sorry to hear about all your bad luck. But glad to hear he is on the mend. Just a shame you did your wrist in now.
Best regards to both of you for a quick recovery
Sally, you shouldn't have tried hitting sense into him! It wouldn't have worked anyway!
I hope your wrist is OK.
My best wishes to you both.
