    TDCi/Puma 110 - New Sump

Got a call from the Adelaide dealer (out of the blue) asking me to bring back my '07 110 to get a new sump fitted. All under warranty of course.

Anyone else with a TDCi having/had theirs replaced?

Quite a reasonable way of getting an oil change!! (I hope).

Maybe they're going to put the leaks back.

I convinced my dealer to do this for me prior to leaving on my trip - they took a little convincing but did it under warranty.

They don't even have to change your oil when they do this - and they won't unless you are also getting a service. I had no issue both prior to and after the sump change.

I got mine swapped over at the first service. No hassles - I just asked and they did it. Mind you I had already emailed them a copy of the service bulletin but in the end I don't think it mattered because I expect they were already aware it was likely to come up as a recall sooner or later.

Is this due to the issue of the front prop shaft hitting the sump?

Yeah - so I found out. Same oil put back. If I'd known that prior I would have asked for new oil, but just assumed they would throw out the old stuff.

Checked this morning, and no leaks on the driveway, so hope they have done it properly!
