    Jamieson Video

With spring finally arriving on Monday, prospects of camping are returning, geeze this winter seems to have lasted way too long and work has been way too busy.

At times, I’ve needed to get my mind off things, to calm down and just take 5 mins. The AULRO site has been great for that, also occasionally I resorted to running through the few D2 video clips I have. One in particular was the Jamieson river crossing back from visiting the Upper Jamieson Hut in the Howqua that me and my son (5yrs) made back in January.

Getting down to the river was the first real use of the HDC and the crossing was my first in the Discovery. Both interesting since we were not traveling in a convoy, no mistakes allowed (another reason for wading through).

This clip was taken with a Canon Power Shot S5 IS which has an edit function allowing clipping of the part where I was wading back and forth to set up the camera.

I’ll be back there asap. Roll on Summer.

Ok. Sorry for the title confusion, on reflection should have called in "Glad the Winters Over". Guess this will annoy a bunch of single malt connoisseurs for which I deeply regret.

    Personally I'm a Glenfiddic man.
