fit it, it looks the goods sitting where it was supposed to be
OK i have a thomas 8000lbs pto winch it 100% complete & working great but i dont know wether to use is on me s3 lwb as when its fitted it makes the bumperbar sit forward about 3 to 4 inches & i realy dont like the look, plus its quiet heavy.. do i make a bullbar so it fits around the winch or just sell it & buy an electric 1 & a secondhand arb or simalar to mod & fit that..i want all the opions i can get to workout what to do..has any1 got pics of 1 fully fitted so i can have a look..

Do it. You have a winch, it works and there's no need to get another one.
yep fit it....a pto winch will work all day so long as you ebgine is running....far less maintenance as well

Mate there's a lot of work in that truck - as Chris said it's a credit to your patience and expertise. I won't hyjack your thread now, but expect me to hunt you down and rack your brains about your body work prep and paint! Yours came up absolutely brilliantly so you must have done something right!

Just checked out the photo's. Where the hell does one start on a project like that? The wireing, the welding, what an awesome job on the chasis! My hat is off to you mate!
Fit the winch and build a custom front bar.
