Sent the wife out to find a car she wants

Let her loose to get a car/shopping trolley/family car, knowing full well she had her eye on a Subaru Outback premium 3lt model......today she brought home the papers for me to sign on the most "fabulous car she has seen and driven to date" and she said it was "instant love....." The guy said he would throw in tinted windows (pimp Black) and a Sat nav system (how good of him)

As I know she doesn't like D3 shape the last place I expected was a LR dealership but what a girl did it all by herself and all I have to do is sign.

If he extends the factory warranty as well I will seriously consider it but what other things do you guys recommend we suggest from the dealer knowing how well LR supports its product in Oz.

Don't touch it. Too complicated, the lucas electrickery will drive you mad, not to mention the air suspension issues and the risks of being stranded when the suspension fails.

Hence the line "If he extends the factory warranty" should hold its value a bit better than the garden variety D3 and the only dirt it will see is the lawn when it gets washed... I would'nt risk getting stuck in the bush with it or tearing off its plastic belly and if the suspension does fail then it just looks pimped.....besides by 2008 they should have most issues resolved even with pommy electrics and all that said its her shopping trolley choice..not mine

That IMHO looks a heap better than the goldfish bowl designed by a cubism movement artist that LR call a D3?

If you really want to drive a high tech box on wheels D3 owners should have just bought TD5 Defenders.

Looks like something an unmedicated schizophrenic would design.
