Well it came time to change the secondary oil filter( Paper one).Hmmmmm, a job I always loath. i was blessed with paddles for hands so the nimble art of getting into small, confined spaces eludes me. Many a kind word later to the dog and anybody in close range I got the f###ing thing in. Only Land Rover would add this extra inconvience to us already patience tested goodwilled peoples of the world. I love my 130, it has added alot to my character. (Once mild mannered now seething at a drop of a hat.)
All will be well once the 1st can is cracked.
Have a good day, mine is only going to get better one thinks.
Dave,
I find the easisest way to remove and fit the filter is to stand facing forward about just slightly forward of the filter and use my right arm to fit it basically backwards. Seems to give a lot better control and the ability to cup the filter as well. Though I can not say I have huge hands.
They do not leave a lot of room.
