Bugger! Missed it. :(
i watched this series at the start of the year both myself and teh wife enjoyed it . It's not really in ya face type of show but more so about life
as a call girl ect quite enjoyable imho
it is available on the net from certain torrent sites for anybody that missed it and would lke to see it
Worraps
I watched the first ten minutes and thought ' what crap ', so I turned
it back over to Tony Jones.
I must confess that I dont watch shows on the three commercial, moronic
program channels.
If it wasn't going to be a quality BBC show on the ABC, I should have known better.
I saw Billie being interviewed by Parky and they talked about the show
and were both enthusiastic about it. I guess Parky was looking at her
undressed, which is probably what influenced me.
DOH, silly me, eh.
PS' Doctor Who, being an historical documentary of high quality on the ABC, is more to my liking.
Sounds like I didn't miss much then.
I watched Rush, and thought that was a bit bollocky as well. And they couldn't even give the show an original name:o Anyone who saw the real "Rush" would know what I mean.
I enjoyed Rush, thought it was edgy, good performances and story, humour, action, a good effort for an Aussie show. Some of the actors were in Underbelly hence why I thought woud check it out, as Underbelly was excellent.Quote:

I'd rather lose a right nut than watch the ABC ;), as for Doctor Who, hated it as a kid, nothing changed as an adult. Give me a good dose of Channel 10 progamming and Im set to go :D. Don't think one can call commercial programming moronic ( some for sure), I mean...that would make the viewer a moron..... and whilst the missus might think I am sometimes....I would like to think that I am not...Also the ABC is owned by the Government for a reason :p......each to their own. Looking forward to my dose of Australian Idol and SO You think you can dance tonight ,Quote:

Im thinking I've been taken out of context...perhaps. That is my fault, one thing I learnt when doing my degree was it is the responsibility of the communicator to ensure the message is received loud and clear. Also maybe I am just paranoid :D.Quote:

On the rare occations I watch TV my preference is the government run tv stations, guess that means I'm not a moron, though some may think otherwise.
There was this message earlier, then part of my response overall wasQuote:

the bolded part meaning...for sure some commercial programming is moronic. But what I may call moronic in someone else's eyes is entertainment.Quote:

Also maybe I was a bit harsh on good ol Aunty, if your old and hang out for the good ol days of listening in to the wireless, I can see the potential joy of tuning into the ABC :p. To be fair though, I do like Grumpy Old Men and............well anything decent went to the commercial stations :D,
