    Very smooth. Very Japanese!

I assume it is used offroad? I haven't seen the Hilux in that role before - in the NT it tends to be the 'Cruisers.
    Cheers, Dale

Definately is not a lux. But we are looking at a lux version as a secondary ambulance. We may have one for a month soon to trial.
It weighs about 3.5 tonnes loaded and has had a custom 5 tonne suspension upgrade and chassis mods. Rides nice on road, plenty of power which suprised me. Rides a little harsh on dirt, but that is to be expected.
We have to have a 4x4 version for mine pit and bush access.
It is really well set out and comfortable for the attendent. 2 stretchers as we are 4okms from the nearest smal hospital and for some trips 150kms to Esperance, and also trips to the airport 30kms waiting for RFDS. About on par with a Merc sprinter we have on lease for size in the back and a damn site better than the PC cruiser we have as well.
Will coment more on the lux when I see one close up. 2 of our guys have seen it and like the lux. Will have to see as is not my preference.
Would have bought a F250/350 but due to that stupid blue oval company not iporting them anymore costs an additional $100,000.
Time will tel how the Nissan goes. Toyota were out as they have no suitable vehicle that meets FRCP in this size (airbags).
