Mate I've got a 2003 RTV ford that spent 3 months out of it first 24mths at ford getting fixed. Its just the luck of the draw. I dont know of your problems but are they all related to a common area, or all over the place. As they say it is 11 years old.

It al comes down how it was treated and maintained prior to your purchase, D1's are a pretty simple vehicle really and i believe its just a case of proper maintainance and repair when parts wear out or break. I had similar problems with my old rangie, i loved it but as it was a family car i got sick of constantly working on it - i know if took it off the road and systematically went over it bit at a time it would have been a great albeit old vehicle.
