considering disco's are pretty common and you don't state whether v8 or diesel,
v8's are very cheap now,
if it was mine i would be looking at buying a wreck and transferring the bits over to convert it.
another option would be to sell it to me and i would convert it.
also you might like to try registration in darwin, where i think lhd is still legal. [something to do with a deal for pine gap?]

Here's the DOTARS requirements for a LHD to RHD conversion.
A very labour intensive, costly operation to get back to a bog standard D2.

It wouldnt be cheap to convert.
Its not like converting a Defender.
Having said that, its worth more than $5k!

We have done a LHD conversion in about 99 at the time it cost about $12,000 all up inc labour ect so more now days. But he loved the car and wanted to keep it. Its a Gulf states Land Rover so the grille looks good :o.
I would find another Disco and make two out of one, cheapest option.
